    This month’s topic for #InkRipples is fairy tales. I had planned on researching some popular retold fairy tales and sharing what I learned. Somehow the month got away from me though. So, instead, I figured I’d share two of my favorite retellings.     Finding Thor Anniversary Blog Tour and Giveaway

    I’m excited to take part in Kai Strand’s anniversary blog tour for her YA book, Finding Thor. If you are not familiar with Strand, she writes middle grade and young adult books. I’ve enjoyed her books that I’ve read so far and Finding Thor is no exception.  Finding Thor is filled with heart pounding action, mystery, kidnapping, torture and romance. Strand’s writing is gripping, so gripping that the kidnapping and torture scenes created lasting images for me. They continue to give me the chills a week after finishing the book.
